Have you been through some rough times in life, but saw that there was light at the end of the tunnel? Do you want to be a part of something bigger than yourself? Even if you haven’t been in the face of darkness, do you still have a burning passion in your heart to love on others? We now have our official online applications ready for the future leaders for SKAD Community nights in different cities. This is a wonderful opportunity to encourage the teens in your community and be a mentor. We are a faith based organization that is all about showing love, grace, mercy, and hope. As a leader you have the wonderful opportunity to love on some kids who may feel it nowhere else. We are the church outside of the church; taking it to the streets, without all the preaching. It’s all about meeting the youth right where they’re at. As a leader, you would be a fire starter to be used to stir up a hunger in kids lives that they don’t even realize they may have. If you even feel the slightest inclination that you should be a SKAD leader in your city, fill out the application and let’s chat. On a personal note from Stella Malone, founder of SKAD:
”When I first started SKAD, I barely knew anything about God, I just knew what He was tugging on my heart to do. I had been saved for a few weeks and just felt a passion in my heart to be a light to a dark generation and let them know how loved they are, no matter what they believe or where they’re at. It started with just a dream and a passion, and God just led me every step of the way. I just gave Him the reins and He directed me and gave me the vision for what it was supposed to be. He taught me about who He was and who I was even. It’s just interesting how I was a new Christian and yet, he was calling someone as lowly as me to do something like this. It still blows me away to this day. Not only are the kids that are being mentored being changed, but the leaders are being changed as well.”
